Legendary Untersberg - Untersberg Cable Car
The Untersberg is the northernmost massif of the Berchtesgaden Alps and, as a unique elevation on the edge of the Alps, it offers an incomparable panoramic view.
It is located in the states of Bavaria (Germany) and Salzburg (Austria).
Emperor Charlemagne, who lives inside the mountain, and his knave will take you on a journey starting at the valley station, telling you interesting and astonishing facts about the history and technology of the cable car, the forests, meadows and alpine pastures, the legends, the hiking trails and huts, the ice cave, the summits, the marble, the gold and the animal world as well as the inexhaustible water reservoir of the holy mountain. They bring you back to the valley station at the end of the tour.
