the museum is one of the most important private collections of French impressionism in Europe. Ever since it opened in 1990, the museum has fascinated a broad cross-section of the public by providing insights into the life of a prosperous family of the Belle Époque. As one of the founding families of the former BBC company (today known as ABB), Sidney and Jenny Brown-Sulzer opened their house to numerous guests, artists, and musicians throughout the early decades of the 20th century. At the heart of this Art Nouveau villa, which was built by Karl Moser between 1900 and 1901, is an exclusive collection of French Impressionist works. A succession of exhibitions and multifaceted events at the museum offer inspiration to every generation.
